Elsinore is a 4-piece Americana/folk-rock/alt-country band from Charleston and Champaign, Illinois. The band's made up of Ryan Groff on lead vocals/acoustic & electric guitar, Dave Pride on congas & percussion/vocals, Mark Woolwine on piano/vocals, and Chris Eitel on bass/vocals. The musical interests of the group span from rock to bluegrass to metal to alt-country to folk to classical to latin and back again. Ryan has a bachelor's in Music Composition, Mark is about to recieve a Masters in Music Composition, Dave is a percussion studies major, and Chris is a massage therapist working towards a degree in Chiropractics. The quartet,as it is now, has been together since October 2004. The band has evolved over the past year into its current instrumentation, which creates a healthy mix of prolific musicality and a unique stage set-up.
