I may be a little bit country and you be a little bit rock, but Jon Hoeffleur is the perfect blend of both. While comparisons to Johnny Cash are inevitable, Hoeffleurs voice has a certain edgy soul , giving him a sound you're not likely to find anywhere else. The singer song-writer first garnered attention as a member of The Blackouts, who later became the Living Blue. In 1999 Hoeffleur formed his current band, The Beauty Shop, with drummer Casey Smith (who has since left the band). Hoeffleur is looking forward to the release of "The Beauty Shops" next album "Yard Sale" this May.
